"Stare Out" started out as the idea of just looking out a window and how peaceful that can be. Gathering your thoughts from watching the world pass by.

As the song developed there are definitely moments where I'm singing from the perspective of giving myself a pep talk, to friend, to my wife, kids, or anyone who could use it.
